Neurodivergence

Therapy for Neurodivergence supports individuals in understanding their unique neurodevelopmental profile and navigating challenges that may arise in areas such as attention regulation, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and social communication, including experiences associated with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Therapy is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming framework that recognises individual strengths, differences in information processing, and the importance of person–environment fit. The focus is on increasing self-understanding, reducing distress, and supporting practical strategies tailored to the individual’s needs and daily functioning.

Therapy is individualised and may include support with emotional regulation, executive functioning, identity development, managing overwhelm, and navigating transitions in daily life. Sessions are paced according to the person’s capacity and priorities, with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and practical application in real-world contexts.

The aim is to provide a structured and attuned therapeutic space in which neurodivergent individuals can better understand their functioning, reduce distress, and develop sustainable strategies for wellbeing and everyday life.  I work collaboratively with GPs, psychiatrists, schools, and other allied health professionals to support integrated and coordinated care.
